The RIB bed, made in France by Scopema is synonymous with camper van Rock and Roll beds.
This bed, occupies probably the smallest area of any R&R bed on the market today, not only allowing for a full featured and flexible bed system, but also providing a boot space at the rear of the van.
Static versions of the bed are available in two frame types: Fixed or Sliding.
The fixed frame occupies a traditional space in the van, while the sliding version allows the seat to be mounted 200mm futher back in the van, giving more space in the living area. The bed is then slid forward on its 200mm sliders to allow it to form the bed.
Storage space can be found under the bed, but practically speaking this is accessible from the front of the bed only.

the 112cm is the most common for camper vans based on VW Transporters and we offer these on our webshop. We are able to supply the other sizes, so please contact us to discuss these.
The RIB bed differs from most bed systems in that it does not slide open. Rather it has 3 articulating cushions.
The front and rear most cushions operate on a rotating ratchet allowing the cushion to be locked into any position from horizontal to vertical, allowing for flexibility in setting the comfort of the bed.
While the middle cushion (back rest) locks in its upright position only or drops down to a horizontal location and becomes the centre of the bed.
The RIB Bed has European and North American Homologation safety approval.
